Position: Senior Software Engineer

Job Location: 860 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Duties: Design and develop highly scalable services and solve complex software systems problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology. Gain exposure to various emerging technologies used in marketing and E-commerce platforms. Provide technical direction, architecture guidance, and expertise to the team. Drive projects of high visibility across the organization. Participate in medium- to large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects by reviewing project, product and business requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions; gathering requested information (for example, design documents, product requirement); designing robust and scalable architectures; writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborating with cross functional teams; troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes; enhancing design to prevent re-occurrences of defects; ensuring on-time delivery.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 1 year of experience in software engineering or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years of experience in software engineering or related area.

Skills required: Experience with Python, Django, React, Golang, .Net, and Tailwind CSS. Experience with REST APIs. Experience designing and architecting new products and applications. Experience designing relational databases and data models. Experience with event driven architecture using web hooks. Experience with logging tools including Splunk, Sumo Logic, and Datadog. Experience with alerting tools including Sentry and Xmatters. Experience with performance tuning applications and database queries. Experience caching using Redis or Memcache. Experience performing code reviews. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $184,662/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
